PWV15 FREEWAY

PWV 15 is a 35,5 km long north-south freeway. The planned road is situated a short distance east of the O.R Tambo International Airport. The Tshwane Municipality is experiencing challenges of Waste management and disposal.

In order to solve the above the Tshwane Municipality intends to embark on a project that aims to reduce waste-to-landfill, and generate approx. 88 MW of energy from all waste material generated from the municipal areas.

GAUTENG SCHOOLS PROJECT

Project Background and Scope

The design, construction and financing of circa. 64 new school infrastructure. The programme will potentially result in a substantial reduction in the backlogs in school infrastructure.

The school designs will be in line with the Gauteng Department of Education’s initiatives to provide smart classrooms as a way of modernising public education and responding to new educational imperatives for quality learning.

Project Background and Scope

Project Background and Scope:
The project aims to create a one-stop shop, providing technical assistance and farmer support for agro-production, processing, logistics, marketing and training within the West Rand District Municipality. Government believes that the initiative will contribute to developing 300 000 new small holder farmers and 145 000 jobs in Agro-processing. The stated intention is to develop Agri-parks in each of the 44 district municipalities, with 27 of the poorest district municipalities being prioritised.

VAAL LOGISTICS HUB

Project Background and Scope

The project entails the design, development, financing and operating a logistics centre. The proposed location of the freight and logistics hub is west of Vanderbijl Park in Emfuleni, Sedibeng Region. The hub is expected to emphasise the re-generation of the rail station and to provide the required associated mechanism to serve as loading, storage and processing; and to emphasise the development of a container depot adjacent to the rail station, together with facilities to handle road transportation and truck facilities.

The Innovation Hub (TIH) is a Science Park offering a number of incubation programmes in the bio-economy (agro-processing, pharmaceutical, smart industries (ICT and advanced manufacturing) and green economy. The TIH operates a range of enterprise development, skills development and innovation enabling programmes. The project entails the design, construction, and financing of the site land parcel 4 called EB2 and land parcel 5 called EB3 in the Innovative Hub. This is the top structure to accommodate tenants fitting the hub tenant profile.
