The project involves the creation of an Agro-based circular economy in the West Rand made up of various but integrated components, Agro-Parks, Bio-Energy Plant, Agro-processing Hub and a Market. The project is currently undergoing Feasibility Studies. The project will have a Technical Assistance components and private sector participation to assist the farmers with technical know-how, capacity-building and inputs. In addition, the private sector will provide the necessary off-takes for the produce.
