The design, development, financing and operating of a transport logistics centre, home to a wide range of industrial and commercial land uses clustered to benefit from agglomeration and complementary activities.
The proposed site is located on the Remainder of Portion 15 and Portion 37 of the Farm Zuurbekom 297 LO, also known as Protea Industrial Park West, Extensions 1 and 2, which is ±1km west of the N12 (Moroka Bypass) and Adcock Road (R558) intersection. The total area of the site is 81ha and located in the Westonaria Local Municipality.
This logistics hub will be a regional cross-docking point where products from multiple supply sources arrive and are sorted and delivered in accordance to the needs of the destination points. It will create value by reducing the costs associated with the transportation, storage and distribution of goods from producer to consumer.
