Project Background and Scope

The Tri–generation is the use of a heat engine or power station to generate electricity and useful heat at the same time. This is basically simultaneous generation of electricity, useful heating and cooling from the combustion of a fuel or solar heat collector. The project entails the design, construction, financing, maintenance and operations of these plants (app. 2MW each) at identified Gauteng Hospitals.
